Okta User guide: how to reset your password

Follow the instructions in this guide to reset your password if you forgot it.
  1. Navigate to tfi.okta.com and click on the “Need help signing in?” link
  2. Two additional options will show up. Choose accordingly.
  3. The next few steps involve proving that you are the owner of the TFI Okta account.
  4. Enter your username or the corporate email address associated with it.
  5. Select the preferred validation mechanism.
    The system will use the existing account information to contact you.
  6. Okta will challenge you with one of the security questions that are stored in your account.
    Please provide the correct answer.
  7. Then click on “Reset Password” to validate the answer and advance to the final step.
  8. Review the password complexity requirements, and create your new password.
    Click “Reset Pasword to proceed.” If your password is valid, it will be applied, and you will be logged on.
